This page has been created for the purpose of posting comments from foreign tourists who have encountered noteworthy experiences while visiting restaurants in Siem Reap.

1. A group of foreigners went to have breakfast at a guesthouse. When one of them asked for black tea, the server went to the kitchen but came back right away and said, "Sorry, we do not have black tea. We only have Lipton tea."

2. Someone pointed out after purchasing a Khmer conversation book that the very first sentence he saw was "This is not the dish I ordered." (This is understandable because there is a very acute shortage of English speaking Cambodians in Siem Reap who are willing to work at restaurants. If qualified, such persons make a lot more money working at travel offices.)
