| This drinking hole is very
inexpensive and gives one an opportunity to watch people walking on the
"Pub Street." All day long until 6:30 PM, one is given one free draft
beer after buying one, so if two people go there and order two draft
beers, then only one beer is charged, amounting to $1.00. This is indeed a
very good deal as far as Siem Reap is concerned.
One drawback is that the servers wear clean but dirty-looking shirts, which must have been washed thousands of time. One sensitive lady in our group pointed that out right away after we sat down. In addition, the mediocre menu is very dirty, we tend not eat there, especially after our first experience of ordinary food. Above this ground-floor drinking hole is the Temple Balcony**** where one can get good food at reasonable prices, and one attraction is that they offer apsara dance performances between 7:30 and 9:30 PM, free of charge. |
