| This completely air-conditioned cafe is an American style coffee shop where you can have very good and reasonably priced sandwiches (delicious grilled cheese sandwich and salad for $2.50, for example), salads, some Khmer dishes, and freshly made pastries, in addition to all the usual gourmet cafe items such as cappuccino, espresso, and lattes. One pleasant surprise is that the server who takes your orders will bring you an ice-cold towel for washing your hands and face. We think this is a very nice gesture on their part. One drawback to some people is that they do not serve alcoholic beverages. However, if you own a laptop with the wireless capability, this is one of the most relaxing places in Siem Reap, as you can stay there as long as you wish, with the abundance of power outlets. Although it is closed Sundays, it is open from 7 AM to 8 PM on all other days. In addition, if you do not have a laptop handy, you can use one of the two computers that are available to the customers. Normally, at least one of them is unused. While you enjoy the Internet connection, please keep in mind that the owners of this wonder cafe contribute its profits for providing financial assistance to humanitarian projects in Cambodia. |
